Daily Coach-to-Student Ratio: 1:2
Each learn-to-row student is in a boat with an experienced rower. They will be accompanied on-water by a coach (typically a former rower of ours that is now rowing in college) in a jonboat. Class sizes are kept intentionally small to ensure that each participant gets the attention they deserve early in the learning process.

Time Commitment:
2 days, 2 hours/day

What the Student Should Wear / Bring:
• athletic clothes that don't impede movement (not too baggy)
• socks
• slip-on or flip-flop sandals
• gym shoes that can get dirty
• sunscreen
• sunglasses or hat with brim for sun shade (optional)
• water bottle covered with sock (sock protects boats from wear)
• no dangling jewelry
• long hair tied back
• nails clipped short
** wearing a shirt is required at all times **

We will review appropriate rowing attire with the students.
